Our Mission

Our Mission is to integrate various aspects of the Arts & Education program with our Afterschool program that will provide music, performance, and visual art to encourage confidence, critical thinking, problem solving, self-awareness and acceptance. We also encourage the children to look and think outside the box while doing their homework. In addition to the daily homework; we will be teaching the following techniques two (2) days a week.

Our goal for this year is to enhance the children’s learning capabilities through the Arts & Education program:

• Self-introspection – Knowing yourself

• Self-awareness – aware of your environment and how to incorporate it into your everyday life

• Stress-management – learning how to acknowledge, control and reduce day-to-day stress

• Self-reflection – giving you the tools to make the right decisions

• Conflict-resolution – learning to resolve conflicts through creativity

• Self-realization – taking the above and making the dream a reality

Within the upcoming months, you will see your child’s learning capabilities and expression on display throughout the halls and classrooms within the school. We encourage you, the Parents, to look at your child’s artwork to see how he/ she is learning outside the box and how he/ she is taking the techniques from above and applying them to their everyday lives.

Please note all children attending EOYCC must attend Arts & Education Aftercare program. This is a requirement, not an option.
